JKR are one of the most respected packaging design agencies in the UK. Following the successful design and refurbishment of their previous studio we were asked to take on their new 1,500 sq metre vintner's warehouse conversion.

The brief was to design a space to meet three distinct business needs; design, administration and client contact, while rigorously avoiding a corporate feel.

The result was a series of overlapping environments allowing easy communication between design staff, account handlers and their clients.

Using rubber, birch ply and stained timber battens, we were able to avoid the rigidity associated with space planned offices and introduce soft shapes and tactile finishes.
