Our relationship began back in the early 90’s when we explored the idea of retail theatre long before the term was commonly understood as a principle in retail design. In Manchester we took the rock concert into the store.
We designed the games department at their flagship store in London. It included a steel tunnel and backlit glass wall with both ‘skins’ becoming projection surfaces for brand imagery and a totally adaptable lighting system.
We were also responsible for re-energizing Nipper the dog. This famous brand mark was rejuvenated through projected imagery based on a new graphic language all designed by redjacket.
We have also worked with HMV to develop new concepts and completed the HMV store in the Bullring Birmingham.
