Being a part of the team building this exciting brand across global borders is one of our most rewarding tasks. It provides us with global exposure and opens us up to trends and design ideas from other parts of the world.
Over several years we have completely overhauled Häagen Dazs’ stand-alone restaurants. After initial success in the London, Paris and Barcelona flagship stores, the design was rolled out to further European cities. We have also built stores in China, Japan, the Middle East, Australia and Latin America. Ice cream cabinets were redesigned for better customer visibility and the back counter changed to accommodate plasma screens. Most significantly warmer colours, better seating and controlled lighting were all introduced to promote the idea of indulgence. Work on this scale warranted the production and delivery of territory specific design manuals.
