Redjacket’s first work for Diesel was to apply their finely honed retail identity to their new London headquarters. With a 2,500 metre square warehouse over three floors, the brief called for administration space, a showroom and staff accommodation on the top floor.
However, the main attraction was to be a bright orange vinyl clad bar to serve as focal point and meeting space for staff and customers alike.
Purple, orange and silver are the predominant colours, while orange plastic balls form visual breaks between departments.
Mirror mosaics on columns and external ceramic tiling to the WC block add to the long list of unusual materials employed.
